ME & Baby is designed for all parents and caregivers who are looking for a supportive community to practice mindful movement and yoga with their infants (non-crawling babies). No prior yoga experience is necessary!
In this 5 week series, Kate will guide students through each class ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and supported. While the postures and exercises will focus on those who have carried a pregnancy and are looking to restore and mindfully build strength, it will be accessible and a benefit to all caregivers. Each class will explore focused breath work, self massage, along with movements and yoga postures that heal, strengthen and stabilize the pelvic floor and core canister. Deep relaxation and mindfulness techniques will be included to support overall health and well being. Please note that this class offers a relaxed atmosphere where caregivers are welcome to feed and attend to their baby as needed throughout the class. Class size will be kept small to insure that everyone is offered the attention they need.
