PRENATAL YOGA

Prenatal yoga gives mamas a valuable space to get centered and nurture their pregnancy journey. This class is open to all levels of yoga experience, during any stage of pregnancy. Each class includes alignment based yoga and movement instruction, laboring techniques, meditation and deep relaxation. Along with helping with common aches and pains that can be associated with pregnancy, these practices will also help prepare a mama’s body for birth and her postpartum period. This class is lead by Kate Miller, a certified prenatal yoga teacher, professional birth doula and childbirth educator. While Kate brings more than 20 years of teaching alignment based hatha yoga to her classes, she also weaves her knowledge of comfort measures and laboring techniques to prepare mamas for birth. If you’re expecting, you won’t want to miss this class to help support your pregnancy, birth and baby!

"I took Kate's prenatal yoga class and was instantly drawn to her balance and wisdom. So I hired her to be our doula for the birth of my son. I am an Ob/Gyn and wanted someone who could teach me things I hadn't learned in my medical training, who could help me be balanced in pregnancy. She was knowledgeable, warm, grounding, and adaptable to the kind of pregnancy and birth experiences I aimed for.”  - Carolyn Suffrin MD, PhD
